About Us

Dr. Heidi Voigt was born and raised outside Wausau, Wisconsin, beginning her passion for the Green Bay Packers. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee where she was Pre-Med and received
her bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Voigt attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where she finished 10 semesters of schooling to earn her degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduation and a trip to Thailand she moved to the Phoenix area and opened Back In Motion Family Chiropractic with Dr. Casper in March of 1999. Dr. Voigt is Board Certified and holds Arizona licenses for both
Chiropractic and Physical Medicine. Her love of sports (playing and coaching) gives her a passion for Sports Medicine and working with athletes of all ages and levels.

Dr. Debbie Casper was made in Thailand, but born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee where she was Pre-Med and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Dr. Casper was a massage therapist while attending Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Casper is Board Certified and holds Arizona licenses for Chiropractic, Physical Medicine and Acupuncture. She obtained her Fellowship in Acupuncture from The International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2002. And after 2 years of practicing yoga Dr. Casper became a yoga instructor in 2005.

Meet our friendly office staff: Lori, Veronica, Teresa and Alyna AND the healing touch of our massage therapists : Kim and Tahnya .

Lori Hardy, CA, RYT has been part of the Back In Motion team since 2009, first as a yoga instructor and in a natural and wonderful progression Lori brought her beautiful attitude and bright smile to the front office, first as a sub and then becoming more permanent at the front desk and eventually as a Chiropractic Assistant in 2011 to assist the doctors with patient care. She loves to share her passion for yoga and her compassion for animals, so...if you don't see Lori here, you may spot her at the Pound where she has been a regular volunteer for many years and has been inspired, along with her pure joy of animals and their unconditional love, that she is earning her veterinary technician degree at Mesa Community College while also working at Back In Motion on Saturdays.  Lori enjoys spending time with her husband and family, especially her rescue dogs!

Veronica Shumway is the newest team member to Back In Motion, but has been a patient for a number of years, so she knows the benefits of staying in motion.  It's always great to have someone familiar with the practice and procedures to be assisting patients. Veronica is the youngest of 6, a Phoenix native and a nanny when she's not here on Tuesdays and Thursdays or attending classes at Mesa Community College. You'll find Veronica's caring nature and friendliness very welcoming when you walk through the doors of Back In Motion!

Alyna Villalobos is an Arizona native and currently attends Chandler High School where she plays on their softball team along with playing on rec teams.  Alyna has always been active especially in sports; she has played softball since the age of 9 and soccer since she was 4 years old.  She enjoys spending time with her friends, watching movies, reading and aspires to pursue an education and career as an environmental attorney or psychologist.  Working as part of the Back In Motion team is Alyna's first job and they are happy to have her on the team!
